We are looking for **Associate - Tech Strategic Initiatives **to join our Software Engineering and Technical Operations team. Work closely with the CTO and Tech Leadership team to help the tech organization reach peak productivity.. You must have strong organization and communication skills and be the champion in our drive for continuous process improvement.

SOPHiA GENETICS (NASDAQ: SOPH) combines Data-Driven Medicine, Genomics and Radiomics, to ensure that the data used to help patients today will also benefit the patients of tomorrow. SOPHiA DDM Platform in supporting multimodal data-driven medicine.

In order to augment our Technology Team, we are created this new role of **Associate - Tech Strategic Initiatives in our Switzerland office.**

**Requirements**:
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CTO and Tech Leadership team to help the tech organization reach peak productivity by identifying and acting on opportunities for continuous improvement across our various disciplines in the Technology Team - spanning from strategic planning, leading key initiatives to addressing operational nuts and bolts.
- Play a critical role in maturing and growing our product development and operational practices marrying the best of software engineering and devops practices with medical / regulatory compliance needs
- Create structure out of creative chaos for bringing great ideas to life. Persist to solve and implement via proper planning, tracking and use of metrics. Ensure teams remain on task and focused with priority deadlines and work
- Regularly communicate progress, risks and impediments to Tech LT
- Be a trusted advisor to the CTO and Tech LT
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards and generate value.
- Work closely with various executive stakeholders to develop implementation plans, and serve as a leader as required to ensure the solution gets implemented; present back to stakeholders, including executives

**Education & Working experience**
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years’ experience in technology & process consulting and technology / digital transformation engagements

**Other Experience & Skills**
- Interest in Graph-oriented technologies, semantic technologies, advanced analytics, AI/ML, databases
- Knowledge of digital healthcare, genomics and digital image analysis is a plus
- Good knowledge of software engineering best-practices, Agile, CI/CD, tech operations, managing budgets
- Excellent level of English and executive communication ability
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and operate in ambiguous and fast evolving environment
