For our location in Visp we are looking for a team lead (f/m/d) for the QA Environmental Monitoring Team. The QA Environmental Monitoring Team ensures the clean room status for the GMP-compliant production of active pharmaceutical ingredients for the entire site. Due to numerous growth projects, the QA monitoring team needs long-term support to check the monitoring systems, to continuously improve them and to adapt the requirements of the new systems. The monitoring team thus makes a central contribution to the safe production of active ingredients and interacts closely with QC, production facilities and other stakeholders as well as with the global quality functions.

Key responsibilities:

- Checking and creating quality-relevant cGMP-compliant documents (risk analyses, reports, SOPs, etc.) as well as assessment of deviations and CAPAs, data analysis & trending of MODA data and support and construction of new production rooms as well as ultra-pure media systems (PQ and routine monitoring) in environmental monitoring
- Ensuring the qualification of the team members, developing and coaching the team
- Distribution, prioritizing and coordination of the work within the team
- Implementation of innovations and lean management in the work area
- Participation in audits and inspections

Key requirements:

- Ph.D. or Master of Science in the field of biology, microbiology or in a comparable scientific field
- Extensive experience in quality assurance and/or quality control in the regulated pharmaceutical industry, ideally in the field of environmental monitoring
- Experience in managing stakeholders at different management levels and good ability to organize various requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a manager and experience in the effective use of hard and soft skills in all aspects of management
- Fluent in German and English language
