Junior Operations Controller

**What you’ll do**

The (Junior) Operations Controller will challenge and control the economic and financial performance of the Operations Management Team and provide financial reports, analysis, and advice for all strategic and operational matters.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Drive the performance review process for Operations, including planning, analysis, monthly results deck
- Support completion of the month end closing activities to support achievement of corporate reporting deadlines in conjunction with colleagues in the Regional Finance Centre and Financial Shared Services
- Support for (and analyses on), variance analyses manufacturing performance, Inventories, CAPEX and first line analyses and insights for actuals, forecast and budget.
- Provide period relevant analyses to FP&A team.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner & direct contact to budget holders to support budgeting and forecasting process. Lead simplification and optimization of the finance review, tools, processes, ways of working
- Ensure that agreed services as agreed with FSS (Financial Shared Services) are delivered up to standard.
- Provide added value through internal/external benchmarks to assess risks & opportunities and ambition
- Drive continuous improvement of analytical processes and structures, including adopting digitalization within the function

**You bring**
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Finance/Business Economics
- At least 3 years of experience in Controlling, Reporting or FP&A with a good understanding of accounting in complex organizations
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (SAP R/3, S/4HANA), Microsoft Office, BI tools, and systems
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking, problem-solving, drive for results, pro-active attitude with “can-do” mentality
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks
- Comfortable in a complex fast paced environment with a high degree of change
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, strong interpersonal communications, influencing skills and stakeholder management; can express her/his ideas with ease and flair
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
