**The role**:

- Investigate new technologies to determine appropriateness and potential uses in our environment
- Communicate architecture strategies to development teams and wider IT stakeholders
- Provide architectural direction to product and project teams
- Ensure technical implementations adhere to architectural standards
- Provide technical leadership and support to development teams to unblock issues and enable efficient delivery
- Find innovative solutions to our toughest technical challenges
- Undertake proof of concept exercises to validate potential design options

- 10+ years proven experience with architectural design for enterprise software solutions
- Specifically has architectural leadership experience with large scale legacy modernization projects
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills

**Additional requirements**:

- Ability to communicate and influence on-site as well as remote technical teams
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with front end frameworks (i.e., Angular, React) is a plus
