**Discover Impactful Work**:
The position holder is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and monitoring daily activity in the warehouse - including leading a team - within GMP guidelines and policies.

**A day in the Life**:

- Ensuring that all the work carried out aligns with departmental and BU procedures, GMP requirements and policies as well as safety guidelines
- Reporting KPIs and manages core processes to achieve target response times
- Responsible for planning the goods in and out area to avoid congestion and maintenance of all mechanical devices / handling equipment
- Reporting quality indicators of the assigned team and own projects
- Identifying, communicating and resolving problems and inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Adhere to current GMP rules, Quality policies, procedures and instructions for the area of responsibility
- Implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Maintaining commitment to Thermo Fisher Scientific values and adherence to ethics and legal compliance standards

**Keys to Success**:
**Education**
- Completed training as a logistician EFZ or comparable qualification. Alternatively, at least a few years in a comparable position in the pharmaceutical industry or in a similar storage area. Additional further training is an advantage (specialist diploma, e.g.)

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Ability to manage personnel, including appropriate, excellent communication with employees, colleagues and superiors in German (spoken and written)
- Command of the German language spoken and written, good knowledge of English
- Ability to solve problems, mathematical and technical understanding
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize activities
- Expertise in working independently even under stress and in a multicultural environment
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office), user knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and TrackWise is an advantage
