Project Procurement Manager (M/F) - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

Join our Chemtech Europe, Africa & Caspian (CT EURAC) team within Chemtech division in Switzerland as Project Procurement Manager (M/F) to help us take procurement strategy to the next level.

**In this role you will be accountable for**:

- Manage all procurement activities in several customer projects, assuming ownership of the project procurement function from pre-sale budgeting phase to project closure and lessons learned analysis
- Develop, align, and execute project specific procurement strategy to support project requirements
- Manage the RFx (request to suppliers) process and lead selection and award recommendation process within the project team
- Negotiate contracts with awarded vendors
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of costs, quality and delivery times, and identify potential bottlenecks and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional supplier development initiatives to support business requirements
- Issue and keep the purchase orders and other related data updated in SAP and in our project management tools

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial project procurement of complex and technical components in an international environment
- Preferably you have a university degree or an equivalent education in mechanical or electrical engineering with a further training in the commercial sector preferably procurement
- Good communication skills at all stakeholder levels. Proficient in English and preferably in German (oral and written)
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a with a team player attitude
- You are customer focused and result driven with advanced analytical skills

**Location**:We are based in Winterthur. Only 5 minutes away from the main station.
