**Mission**
The principal mission of this position is to oversee and support Richemont’s transport operations and events by ensuring appropriate physical security controls, securing assets and protecting people.
The scope will cover all Richemont operations globally, transportation security of valuables through all flows, as well as events carried out by Richemont or one of its entities
**Key Responsibilities**
This position will be responsible for the strategy, management & coordination for events, transportation security, projects and SPOC police.
- Provide guidelines, requirements, and standards to be followed by the relevant stakeholders for events
- Event security concept and risk assessment, as well as direct security and safety strategies and plans
- Compliance and tracking of the events project management (resources, budget, deadlines)
- Planning of the events focusing on security risk analysis and security needs including collaboration with appropriate law enforcement agencies.
- Implement effective risk-based security operations focused on threat detection and continuous risk analysis in line with the Group Security risk strategy.
- Responsible for the Health & Safety/Environment controls for events
- Incident reporting and investigation
- Responsible for an annual planning of major/high risk events
- Responsible for the process around consignment of valuables
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) on transportation security matters
- Establish security minimum standards and transportation security risk assessment per country.
- Ensure compliance of transportation security roles & responsibilities across regions, markets and entities, as well as risk mitigation in all assigned activities and in particular relating to third parties’ involvement
- Provide analysis and reporting on business activity (transportation security and events), compliance and risk assessments
- Provide and support a ‘risk based’ approach for physical security (transportation security and events) and ensure adequate reaction after threat or incidents
In addition to the above, this position will be responsible for liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure a proper communication & collaboration around transport security and events, including flows and methods of transportation, security concepts and risk assessments for the events.
**Desired Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in physical security operations - preferably with experience in transport and events
- Appropriate Management qualification in Physical Security
- Fluent spoken/written English is needed. French is a plus
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
- Ability to efficiently write reports, manuals, speeches and articles
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics
- Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, as well as with top management
