This is an opportunity to join the leading international investment bank in Switzerland.

The role of an IB Switzerland Coverage Associate is to assist on execution, marketing and coverage of Swiss large and midcap companies, work across M&A, equity and debt capital markets and acquisition finance with colleagues from the Swiss team, as well as colleagues from various industry, other country and or product teams across EMEA and globally.

We are seeking an Associate with relevant skills and experience in the major areas of investment banking and demonstrates the ability to become a senior officer who is capable of generating and executing his/her own transactions.

**Key responsibilities**

As an Associate in IB Coverage for Switzerland, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Supporting on execution, marketing and coverage work across industries
- Research and analysis of market data and companies
- Supporting preparation of client presentations
- Performing valuation analyses (e.g. based on multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.)
- Building detailed and complex financial models
- Executing transactions from pitch to close (e.g. public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors, equity capital markets advisory on various types of capital raising transactions such as listings and rights issues across Switzerland, etc.)
- Leadership role in execution functions and in working with analysts, incl. supervising the work performed by analysts on certain of the aforementioned tasks

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Relevant full-time Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience
- Excellent analytical skills, with high level of attention to detail
- Proven financial modelling / valuation skills
- Knowledge about the transaction cycle of relevant investment banking products
- Demonstrates commitment to a strong teamwork environment
- Demonstrates organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work self-directed and independently and to multitask on numerous assignments
- Adaptable, flexible and resilient
- Relevant academic background and experience
- Fluency in German and English required; with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
