Operational Buyer

In this position as an operational buyer you will place purchase orders, obtain order confirmations and also expedite orders ensure an on-time delivery. Further you will review and validate purchase requisition for products/services for several sites. You are responsible for monitoring and tracking supplier performance and raising issues with strategic buyers. You will supervise/train junior colleagues, drive and support the use of e-catalogue and also perform other duties as assigned. Apart from this you lead the competitive bid process and execute RFx market interventions. In addition to this you will manage non-conformance, rejections and returns with suppliers, Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

You are experienced with Operational Procurement and Purchasing of indirect goods/services and carrying out 3-Bids and managing suppliers. You have a customer service mindset, an ability to manage several priorities simultaneously and a positive attitude with willingness to learn new skill sets.
