Located at the foot of the Swiss Alps and directly on Lake Lucerne, the Chenot Palace in Weggis has 97 rooms and suites, a restaurant and a tea lounge. The medical spa covers an area of 5,000m² and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support the Chenot Detox programmes.

We are looking for a **Biochemist (m/w) / Molecular Biologist (M/F)** with immediate effect or by appointment:
**Tasks & Challenges**
- Performance of gene-expression analysis on blood samples
- Management and coordination of other laboratory members for the optimization of the workflow in the laboratory
- Support the maintenance of laboratory equipment, tracking of the inventory and ordering of consumables
- Perform data entry and analysis, and prepare personalized reports of gene expression
- Perform literature reviews and assist with the production of scientific studies

**Qualification & Competences**
- BS with 2+ years' of experience or MS with 0 - 2 years' of experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- Hands-on experience with nucleic acids, DNA/RNA processing enzymes and detection technologies (e.g. PCR, qPCR)
- Experience with data analysis using Excel and GraphPad
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to keep accurate lab records.Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages are considered as an advantage
- Understanding of the role of teamwork in providing quality services
