**Manager Strategic Purchasing (Direct Spend)**

Our client is a leading Medical Technology company headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners. We are looking for a **Manager Strategic Purchasing (Direct Spend)** for a **permanent role** to be based in **Central Switzerland**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the purchasing team;
- Work closely with the Head of Purchasing on the implementation of purchasing strategy;
- Development solutions ensuring security of supply;
- Provide support in the development of new projects from conception, coordination with strategic buyers, and finalization, always keeping sustainability as a key strategic objective;
- Participate in budgeting of the department, budget control and managing departmental key figures;
- Be responsible for the strategic purchasing of individual product groups and risk management.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
- Degree or vocational training, several years of experience as a buyer (with federal Professional qualification or equivalent);
- Experience leading teams and developing projects;
- Very good experience in SAP R3 and/or S4HANA (MM module)
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
