**Sales Director**
**Location: Berne Area, Switzerland**
**Full-time, onsite + travel required (Relocation Offered)**
Our client is a first-mover Swiss cannabis research and cultivation company with exciting plans for growth in the coming months. They produce medical hemp/cannabis of the highest quality in a high-tech indoor cannabis production facility, which is distributed across Europe.
They are on the search for a strategic and experienced cannabis sales leader to join their team. This individual will work closely with company leadership to help develop & lead B2B/medical sales strategy & execution, build a sales team, and drive revenue growth worldwide.
This role will require extensive travel across Europe to attend industry conferences and be on the ground with potential and current clients.
Previous B2B Cannabis industry and/or Pharmaceutical sales experience is required.
Full fluency in both German and English language is required.
(Note: If EU Citizen: Must have a Swiss Work Permit secured prior to signing employment contract)
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Meeting planned sales goals and achieving KPIs.
- Overseeing all business development efforts.
- Develop a B2B medical Cannabis sales strategy.
- Attend industry events and generate leads.
- Understand the company’s ideal customers and how they relate to their products.
- Managing client relations.
- Negotiation of contracts with potential customers.
- Work closely with the marketing team.
- Manage leads and clients using a CRM.
- Identify distribution opportunities by building and strengthening partnerships that maximize sales volume through distribution, visibility and service.
- Effectively implement and manage a budget to increase sales volume and manage necessary sales expenses within the budget allocated.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in Cannabis and/or Pharmaceutical sales is required.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working as a regional sales manager, key account manager and/or territory manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
- Demonstrable high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
- Ability to build, lead and manage a sales team.
- Previous success in growing brand awareness and brand recognition within a given region, while using innovative strategies and hitting defined KPI’s.
- Access to a vehicle and a valid Driver's license.
- Ability to be onsite at the company facility 2+ days a week, and travel around the designated territory on a regular basis.
- Full fluency in German AND English language demonstrated at a B2+ level.
- Strong knowledge in both German and English language in both speaking and writing.
**Job Type**: 100%
**Salary**: From CHF120,000.00 per year
