To support this vision, we are looking for a qualified QA lead to take responsibility for our digital quality assurance activities and work with engineers and product managers to ensure joint alignment on quality objectives.

Reporting lines & interactions

The QA lead will report to the Head of Engineering and be a member of the Engineering Team, Technology and Digital Innovation.

This role will include the management of a group of external consultants currently performing manual and automated testing and allocated to product delivery teams.

Breakdown of main responsibilities- 50% Coordination, team management, coaching of team members, reporting- 30% Project management of test automation project- 10% Support product delivery teams with manual testing as needed- 10% Integration and regression testing preparation and coordination for large-scale events- Successful definition of a strategy and a roadmap for test automation, according to product usage analytics and institutional priorities- Contribution to the evolution of QA approaches and tools innovation focus-
- Successful and meaningful development of QA team members

Preferred requirements and experience- University-level education in computer science- 3 to 5 years’ relevant industry experience as a QA team leader- Experience working closely with engineering teams and following a structured development process, preferably in an Agile environment- Experience with the software development tools/platforms, including an issue-tracking software (e.g. Confluence, Jira and Zephyr)-
- Strong analytical, organisational and collaboration skills, with the willingness to help with manual testing if/when needed- Ability to understand a complex technical architecture and break it down to identify solutions and improvements to reach quality KPIs- Broad intellectual background with interest in sustainability, technology, and innovation- Excellent English oral and written communication skills (including writing in digital contexts)
