**Position Summary**:
The Nestlé Product Technology Centre (NPTC) in Konolfingen is the leading Centre for ideation, creation & renovation of new & existing products and services for Nestle Dairy.

The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Dairy plans and develops Innovation & Renovation pipelines to support growth and profitability of our Dairy business via a consumer centric approach. It ensures scientific, technological, and manufacturing excellence through the development of the right competences.

To support our vision, the Innovation team is looking for a Consumer Sensory Insight Intern join us.

As a Consumer Sensory insight Intern, you will be working on diverse consumer and sensory insight activities including working with Konolfingen Sensory Trained Panels to ensure best practices are followed and results delivered on time. You will work on a range of products and brands and will have the support of the Nestle Dairy Innovation team to learn and grow your skills.

**A day in the life of...**:

- Collaborate in consumer sensory insight (CSI) projects under the supervision of CSI Specialists and Sensory Panel leader.
- Administer and analyse sensory tests following CSI Specialist and Sensory Panel leader instructions and according to best practices: build session in sensory software, prepare and code samples, provide samples to panelists, perform statistical analysis and reporting.
- Support training and monitoring of performance of internal and external panels through set up of new tools, new methods and / or new material
- Take part in CSI digitalization through support of data management / analysis capabilities / agile methods development initiatives
- Support consumer insight research using traditional or agile methods with help of internal tools and/or liaising with consumer agencies.
- Support organization of competitive product tasting with internal panel
- Support sensory kitchen management

**What will make you successful**:

- University degree (Master or Bachelor degree) in Food Science (or related discipline)
- Good Knowledge/awareness in sensory evaluation - Knowledge of sensory software is a plus (Fizz, EyeQuestion, RedJade)
- Good Understanding of consumer research. Growth Hacking & agile tools knowledge is a nice to have
- Proficient with IT tools (Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Power BI)
- Good knowledge of statistics and data analytics. Familiar with statistical analysis tools (XL Stat, R, Minitab or SPSS)
- Passion for Innovation and products tasting
- Ability to manage diverse topics in parallel
- Strong team player, well-organized, excellent communication at all levels of the organization and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Fluent in English, German, and French / Swiss German is a plus
