**Main purpose of the role**

The Evening Events Coordinator is in charge of conceiving and putting in place a programme of activities/events for the Summer Camp Boarders every evening over the whole period of Summer Camp. The Evening Events Coordinator leads both Activity Leaders and House Parents teams to execute and supervise the scheduled activities, with enthusiasm and passion.

**Key responsibilities**
- To create a programme with a diverse range of activities and events over the 6 weeks of the Summer Camp
- To lead the Activity Leaders and House Parents teams to execute the programme and deliver the activities on a daily basis
- In collaboration with the Daily Activity Coordinator, to organise the weekend excursions
- To be responsible for the safety and hygiene of children
- To ensure the compliance with health and safety rules of Collège du Léman and respecting the material and the areas

**Skills and Competencies**
- Managing a team
- Experience working with children and teens
- Experience in event organisation, ability to set up theme parties
- Motivated, dynamic, flexible, professional, organized, and creative
- Experience in teaching or practicing several specific activities (Sports, Art or Tech)
- Responsible and autonomous
- Fluent English and French compulsory (Spanish, Russian, Japanese or Arabic is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to work in a team environment is vital
- Basic knowledge of MS programs
- CPR & First Aid certificate
- Driver’s license
- Experience working in a management position (camps)

**Conditions**

Availability to work on weekends.

The summer camp is planned over 3 sessions from July 2nd to August 12th, 2023.

Dates:

- Preparation time: June 26th to June 30th, 2023
- Session 1: July 2nd to 15th, 2023
- Session 2: July 16th to 29th, 2023
- Session 3: July 30th to August 12th, 2023
- It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships. _
