Position summary

The position is responsible for the Bank’s credit activities in commodity trade and structured finance. He/she is carrying out of the CTF business in accordance with the instruction of the Head of Credit department and in the framework of the internal regulations provided in the Credit Policy, in particular in the following areas:
Prepayment financing;
Inventory financing of commodities in approved warehouses and similar facilities;
Transportation financing being the financing of goods transported by rail or vessel;
Post-shipment financing being the financing of trade receivables either on open account or against acceptable payment instruments;
In conjunction with the above, liaison with Documentary Business Services.

Tasks and responsibilities

Possession of good balance sheet analysis background, solid credit risk awareness and a good understanding of compliance with the local regulatory environment.
Familiarity with the usual CTF structures and requirements.
Familiarity with Incoterms, UCP, ISBP and other CTF and documentary business related regulatory publications.
Familiarity with documentation accompanying the CTF operations and shipments: warehouse receipts, Bills of Lading, transportation documents for auto or rail transportations etc.
Ensure securities (LCs, Payment Undertaking, Insurances) in place and in order before disbursement of funds.
Preparation and finalization of credit transaction documents (loan agreements, documentary agreements with credit risk, collateral documentation etc.).
Preliminary control over fulfillment of conditions precedent of the credit transaction.
Monitoring of credit exposures and timely reporting worrisome exposures to supervisor/management.
**Working with internal stakeholders**: Risk Management and Risk Control, Credit Administration and Documentary Operations, Treasury Operations, payments and management for the smooth operation of client facilities.
Provision of various statistics reporting over Bank´s credit operations.

**Requirements**:
University degree in Economics or Finance
Banking experience in CTF business
Working experience with the main commodities
English & russian languages are a must
Swiss or EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
