**Cement Business Unit Manager**:

In this role, you will be responsible for ABB Process Industries’ Cement business, in terms of commercial (sales and marketing) activities and portfolio management, including research & development oversight.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Strategy: Implement the portfolio and commercial strategy and ensure business development, including profit and loss (P&L).
- Performance targets: Ensure the development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensure achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
- Market opportunities: Evaluate market opportunities and decide on appropriate activities in line with the strategy. Continuously develops and manages the products, solutions, systems and/or service portfolio to achieve and secure market leadership.
- Commercial: Ensure the integrated commercial success of the organization to drive business growth and market share, enabling the organization to achieve its short-, mid-, and long-term performance and growth objectives within the assigned geographical scope.
- Profitability: Ensure profitable business growth in the allocated market.
- Quality: Oversee production and/or execution of high-quality products, services, and processes. Monitor quality metrics, identify opportunities for improvement in local execution, and oversee improvement activities.
- Project execution: Ensure the execution of projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results, and customer satisfaction.
- Research & development: Oversee relevant local Research and Development initiatives.
- Customer relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- People leadership and development: Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed. Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- Local business lines with cement focus to report into this position.

**Your background**:

- 10+ years experience in global roles, managing global teams, and driving results
- P&L experience
- Proven track record in the cement industry
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Availability to travel internationally as required
