**CONTEXT**
Richemont is advancing in its strong pioneering ambition to transform its business model towards New Retail. The group is pursuing its strong development into the digitization of its commerce value chain, relying on the strategic partnerships with Alibaba Group and Farfetch.
Richemont has a strong ambition to transition to a New Retail business model which will be heavily powered by Data. In this context, the Group has established a global data strategy which is currently being implemented by the Group Data Office. In particular, the Group is investing in state-of-the-art cloud-based data platform hosting multiple Maisons and Group Functions data projects.

**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
The Data Governance Strategy Lead is responsible for the definition of Group Data Governance and Data Compliance policies.
She/ He will work with Maisons Data Owners and Group Functions to define the target operating model for Data Governance and update our policies towards internal and external regulation changes.
The Data Governance Strategy Lead will:

- Update and maintain the Group Data Governance policy including, roles and responsibilities, processes, and governance, including:

- Data lifecycle management principles
- Data quality management principles
- Data access management principles
- Data documentation management principles- Coordinate with Group Functions to update our data policy toward internal and external data related regulations:

- Group Legal: data privacy
- Group Finance: data confidentiality
- Group Security: data protection and security- Update Richemont’s current Group Data Governance Playbook in alignment with our organization and our strategy for the Group Data Platform
- Define the Data Governance operating model for Divisions and Maisons, with the support of the Group Functions
- Coordinate with Divisions and Maisons to assign data owners and data stewards’ roles
- Work with Group HR to build training and upskilling plan for Data Owners and Data Stewards
- Maintain the Group Data Map and Data Domain policy with Data Owners and the support of the Group Functions:

- Business documentation
- Quality requirements
- Access management approval process and user access matrix
- Collaborate with Group Tech Architecture to identify trusted source systems for each Data Domain
- Work closely with Group Tech and Group Security to support data security audit and remediation initiative
- Coordinate with the Data Enablement team to identify priority project and support projects during scoping to define and enforce the appropriated data governance

The Data Governance Strategy Lead will report to the Data Governance Manager.
He/ She will collaborate with the Data Governance Operation Lead to enforce Group Data Governance policy on the Group Data Platform across the Group and the Maisons.

**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?**
- You are a qualified manager with 8+ years of data governance/ data management experience with a leading player in the field. You hold a Master's degree in data science, engineering, statistics, Information systems, MBA is a plus
- You are an expert in Data Governance and/or Data Quality and/or Master Data Management including industry best practices, using data tools and technology, strategic project development and implementation planning skills
- You have experience on Customer, Product, Supply Chain and Manufacturing data. You have experience with SAP environments and SAP master data
- You have a strong knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance framework, such as but not limited to DAMA DMBOK or CDQ Data Excellence Model
- You understand the importance of a solid Data Framework and the criticality and impact on business processes
- In term of soft skills, you are a self-starter, able to operate in a changing environment, capable of seeing the big strategic picture, but also of stepping into operational details when required
- You have strong communication skills, the capacity to build relationships at a senior level as well as the ability to function in complex situations meeting and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment
