As part of our Automotive Products Group, the Project Manager’s main responsibility will be to lead internal and customer projects for the Thermal Systems Product Line.
- Your responsibilities will be to:
- Manage customer projects starting from the RFQ phase until successful introduction in serial production-
- Manage internal projects to improve profitability of the Business Unit (e.g.: implement cost reduction activities, execute Product Line VAVE plans.)-
- Act as the main contact point for customers and cross-functional teams in the given project-
- Drive the project timeline to achieve internal and customer milestones-
- Work in close collaboration with Engineering, Quality departments, Operations, C&S and Supply Chain to define the scope of work-
- Take responsibility for risk management as well as for compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements-
- Escalate major project risks to Senior Management (e.g.: customer complaints, delays in component procurement, etc.)- Our requirements:
- University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering-
- Ideally 5 to 10 years work experience in development and customer projects preferably within the automotive industry-
- Fluency in English; French or German knowledge would be considered a plus-
- Excellent written and oral communication skills & problem-solving abilities-
- Team player with autonomy and organization abilities-
- Willingness to travel 20% of working hours in average, depending on dedicated projects requirements- What we offer:
