**Coordinator Social Finance and Social Impact**

**Your role**

The role includes responsibility for Social Finance (Global) and Social Impact and Philanthropy Services (Regional - India and Middle East).

You will be responsible for:
Social Finance (Global)
- Reviewing investment memorandums and program approval documents shared by the Social Finance team before they are submitted for further approvals
- Handling inquiries, delegate to appropriate team members or develop action plans to address them, and assist with the preparation and dissemination of communications
- Performing varying duties depending on the shifting needs and priorities of the team and its staff members
- Participating in strategic initiatives by leading them and reporting results back
- Serving as liaison between staff and the foundation CEO / heads, regarding project updates, proposals, and planning
- Organizing and gathering information from various team members, meetings and reporting that information, along with recommendations, to Optimus management team
- Participating in strategic initiatives by leading them and reporting results back
- Collaborating with colleagues across the foundation, Social Impact & Philanthropy Services as well as across various functions and entities to drive Collective Philanthropy and Blended Funds
- Representing the foundation on various boards and committees as needed
- Supporting the CEO of the foundation and Head of Social Impact & Philanthropy Services as they represent the foundation's Social Finance work globally

Social Impact and Philanthropy Services (India and Middle East).
- In India, supporting the local team in implementing the social impact strategy, encompassing philanthropy services and community impact and continuously adapting the global strategy and approach to philanthropy services
- Managing the governance of the foundation in India together with the Head of Operations, and working with relevant functions to manage front to back operations and risk of philanthropy services, including managing local regulatory requirements
- Locally managing the team of 3 with 2 direct reports covering philanthropy advisory, business management, and programs in India
- Supporting the Head of CSR and Philanthropy India with implementing and managing initiatives to drive and increase employee engagement through donations, volunteering and other initiatives (such as Ambassador Programs), creating awareness of our global social impact platform and developing a business pipeline for philanthropy services through partnership with and training of internal stakeholders (client advisors / marketing / senior management / etc.),
- In the Middle East, supporting the COO, Social Impact to establish Social Impact and Philanthropy Services in the United Arab Emirates with a local presence/license in Dubai
- Engaging internal and external stakeholders in both markets
- Executing both global and regional initiatives (Collective Impact, Social Finance initiatives, Global Philanthropists Community and other strategic partnerships and initiatives)
- Working closely with local management to continue to position Social Impact and Philanthropy Services as leaders in this space

**Your experience and skills**
- You have: _
- At least 15 years' work experience. Significant portion of work experience in innovative impact finance and/or international development
- Significant experience and networks in the area of innovative finance for global development or impact investing and a deep understanding of blended finance approaches
- Track record of successfully delivering a multi-partner initiative in the areas of innovative finance or international development
- Previous experience working with private philanthropists and private (and institutional) investors
- Grant-making and/or program management experience (preferably in the Environment, Education, or Health a plus)
- Good understanding of innovations and best practices in financing for development
- You are: _
- Entrepreneurial and excited to work in a start-up phase of an organization, comfortable with uncertainty
- A strong analytical and qualitative problem-solver; able to quickly get up to speed on a new area, identify issues and key focus areas
- Comfortable working with a wide range of partners including colleagues, clients, investees and other development stakeholders
- Team-oriented, flexible working style, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Desirous to work in a dynamic, cooperative environment in which there is an emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, and continuous learning and improvement
- Possessing a superior work ethic; willing to work in a high demand environment both proactively and independently
- Willing to travel up to 25%
- Fluent in English. Other languages would be a plus.
