Manager Pfa Laboratory

In the headquarter, we have an innovative Physical Failure Analysis laboratory and we are looking for Laboratory Manager who will manage and run efficiently the activities with proactivity and on time.
You will drive the failure analysis or construction analysis on several different kinds of products and technology, ranging from large PCB down to inspection at the die level of semiconductor devices, according to the diverse products in the u-blox product portfolio.
A strong problem-solving attitude and the ability to reach a logical conclusion given a set of facts will be the keys to your successful development.

You can perform different kinds of analyses, starting from sample preparation (grinding, chemical decapping, laser ablation, plasma etching,) and continuing with non-destructive (Visual, x-Ray, C-SAM, CT, IR thermography,) and destructive analyses (SEM, x-section, Ion milling,). Some business travel required
8 years of related experience. Master’s in electrical engineering or higher preferred
- Familiar with failure analysis tools including but not limited to microprobing, electrical measurement equipment, scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy, emission microscopy, scanning laser microscopy, focused ion beam (FIB) and mechanical/chemical delayering techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Device physics understanding of circuit elements including transistors, diodes, capacitors and resistors
- Overall basic knowledge of integrated circuit processing and IC layout and design
