**IC Laboratory Operator / Technician**

As an **IC Laboratory Operator / Technician**, you will be part of a team of production engineers in charge of the u-blox IC test & characterization. You will support our engineering test setups, follow-up the maintenance and the calibration of our equipment’s, as well as take care of our laboratories.

To achieve successfully and enjoy this position, it is fundamental to be open minded, proactive, very well self-organized, with multitasking capacity and that you enjoy supporting each other.
The role is located in Thalwil, Switzerland.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Manage our IC test and design laboratories
- Setup wafer probers / chip handlers
- Organize the maintenance of our test equipment and Lab infrastructure (Air Conditioning, Electricity, Layout)
- Follow-up the calibration plan for equipment
- Maintain the inventory of the lab (equipment, components)
- Act as 4-eyes control in the development of our test programs
- Test and verify the failures from production and/or the customer
- Support characterization runs
- Support our Hardware board validation
- Support our Hardware repair (mainly SMD soldering)

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Good knowledge in electronics and solid technical understanding
- Ability to work independently and carefully on technical setups
- Experience in measurement and debugging in the lab (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Good verbal and written communications skills in English; German skills also appreciated
- Team player, flexible, and self-organized
- Swiss or EU/EFTA citizen or resident with valid work permit for Switzerland

**Bonus Point**:

- Experience in Automatic Test Equipment
- Programming skills (Python, C++, FPGA)
