The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement. A truly global organisation, it acts as a catalyst for collaboration between all Olympic stakeholders, including the athletes, the National Olympic Committees (NOCs), the International Sports Federations (IFs), Organising Committees for the Olympic Games, the Worldwide Olympic Partners and Media Rights-Holders. It also works with public and private authorities, including the United Nations and other international organisations.

As the Project Manager within the NOC department, you will be assuming a pivotal role in overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects critical to ensuring the optimal experience of National Olympic Committees (NOCs) during games time. Your primary focus will be on providing vital support to the IOC Olympic Village Manager with the Olympic Village (OLV) planning as well as conduct the strategic, development, and delivery phases of the Youth Olympic Village (YOV) with the Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee (YOGOC). Additionally, you will own and manage several key projects outside of Village Management.

**Main responsibilities**

Youth Olympic Village
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the IOC with the Organizing Committee on all Youth Olympic Village matters;
- Oversee the development of the Youth Olympic Village from Master Plan design through to operations;
- Develop and conduct initial briefings for the Organising Committee on the Youth Olympic Village educating them on expected services and serves levels;
- Coordinate the collaboration between internal IOC departments and external partners (e.g. Marketing Partners) delivering initiatives and services in the YOV;
- Provide operational, staffing and master planning support, in collaboration with the IOC Village Manager, to the YOGOC allowing them to construct a lifetime business plan for the YOV;
- Collaborate with the YOGOC in optimizing planning to fit within contextual and financial constraints relevant to the local environment; and
- Represent the department at Coordination Commission, Delivery Partner Meetings and other IOC/YOGOC reviews.

Olympic Village
- Support the IOC Olympic Village Manager the transfer of knowledge from previous Games including best practices and expected standards throughout the Village development lifecycle.
- Arrange comprehensive training sessions for the Organizing Committee members to enhance their understanding of the Village operations and management;
- Monitor the progress of Village development project, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery;
- Collaborate with internal IOC departments and external partners to deliver IOC and marketing partner initiatives in the OLV; and
- Administer all Village related service provider contracts.

Project Management (NOC Uniform Support Programme, NOC Uniform Compliance, Olympic Village Data Capture and Athletes’ Survey, IOC Village Guest Passes):

- Develop comprehensive business plans, timelines, and budgets for each assigned project;
- Coordinate project resources, including stakeholders (e.g., relevant IOC departments, sporting goods industry, Organising Committees), finances, and materials to ensure efficient execution;
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery;
- Provide regular project status updates, including milestones and issues to internal departments and external stakeholders and senior management;

Other:

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans and reports.
- Document lessons learnt and best practices from completed projects
- Contribute to the Athletes Games Services team with ideas for general improvement.
- Participate in brianstorming activities.
- Support as needed with the management of other duties and assigned sub-projects.

**Our requirements**
- Bachelor degree in Sports management, event management or any equivalent education.
- Fluency in English. Upper intermediate level in writing and speaking of French.
- Good command of Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Smartsheet.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a complex organizational setting and in the sports and/or events management industry.
- A good knowledge of the Olympic Games and Games experience preferred.
