**Legal Assistant**

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a **Legal Assistant** for a **13-month contract** (maternity leave cover, no extension planned) based in the** Basel area, Switzerland**.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for corporate housekeeping and subsidiary management including coordination of documentation for the Board of Directors‘ and Shareholders‘ Meetings, management of external contractors responsible for management of documentation, legalizations, apostille and more;
- Invoice processing for the legal team, uploading and creating Legal Documents/Policies in the system, supporting the legal team with signatures for agreements and other corporate documents (including signatures in Docusign, AdobeSign or wet ink);
- Confidential notice tracking for sensitive projects;
- Providing ad hoc support for the group, performing administrative tasks for the legal team, Organization Charting in Visio, organizing events;
- Supporting the legal team with signature of agreements and corporate documents (Docusign/AdobeSign/wet ink) and with SIX stock exchange filings;
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
- Relevant qualification as paralegal or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field;
- Fluency in English and German is a must.
