**ROLE OVERVIEW**
We are looking for an experienced biologist to play a key role in our immuno-oncology team. Working closely with all project teams, we are searching for a cell culture specialist who will be responsible for cell culture activities (quality, characterization, maintenance) and be involved directly in the design and execution of our in vitro assays to support our drug development platform, contributing to an exciting pipeline of bispecific antibody therapeutics being developed using Ichnos’ proprietary BEAT platform to treat hematological and solid malignancy.
This job position will be located at our discovery site located in Epalinges, Switzerland.
Strong organization, communication and time management skills are a must to deliver in a fast paced ‘can do’ environment.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Culture of mammalian cell lines. Maintenance and amplification, Banking, Growth, Quality control and characterization of multiple cell lines.
- Provide support for the isolation and culturing of primary human cells (ex. isolation of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells - PBMC).
- Design and run _in vitro _assays experiments using, but not limited to, flow cytometry, proliferation assays, functional assays, ELISA, MSD, Luminex etc
- Perform data analysis on a regular basis and report data in laboratory notebooks in a timely manner.
- Presentation of results in English in regular team meeting.
- Comply with all safety HSE guidelines.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Technical degree (CFC) or equivalent up to Masters level in biology or related field.
- At least 5+ years experience with mammalian cell culture (required).
- Experience with _in vitro_ assays using human primary and cell lines, including flow cytometry, is required.
- Practical knowledge in flow cytometry data analysis using FlowJo or equivalent is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Team player who collaborates and communicates effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in industry and drug discovery is a plus.
