**This position reports to**:
Business Development and Portfolio Manager of the Division

**Your role and responsibilities**:
Lead and contribute to complex business development projects and/or strategic planning. Be a partner and challenger for top management in the development and implementation of winning strategies. Use understanding of ABB businesses and their environment to create proposals for profitable growth and differentiation. Lead strategy projects to that purpose. Your responsibilities: - Jointly with Division key stakeholders drive strategy execution by defining and maintaining strategic OKRs and Themes - Lead Divisions Annual/Quarterly Business Review processes to facilitate alignment and prioritization of investments to enable successful execution of strategy - As a member of business development team identify M&A and Venture Investment targets in alignment with the division’s M&A strategy and supports in the preparation and execution of transactions - Independently lead, plan, prepare, and execute strategic projects, with a focus on value maximization, risk minimization, quality, and certainty - Manage and progress the internal investment approval chain - Support execution of acquisitions and divestments as well as investments, in collaboration with the Business Development team and the group M&A and Electrification Venture team - Continuously identify improvement possibilities in strategic processes and contribute to their implementation - Share best practices with other functions and divisions

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelor’s/Master´s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering from a leading institution; MBA from top business schools is plus
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience required, i.e., corporate strategy/business development, global product/portfolio management, technology management
- Basic understanding of Agile environment, technical processes, operations, and logistics a plus
- Proven expertise in preparation and support of workshops in strategy, business development etc.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team skills in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as creative, energetic, self-motivated, flexible team player with an ability to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience in writing and delivering presentations and communicating ideas and plans to senior management and executives
