We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds, and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.

– Duration: 6 months
– Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in Zurich, Switzerland
– Note: This is a paid internship

Your mission

  1. Support our Athletes and ensure a timely delivery of new products including prototypes.
  2. Track all orders throughout the process.
  3. Evaluate the current order process from start to finish and define and assess opportunities to improve it in order to reduce the administrative work of athlete managers.
  4. Manage the product delivery to our own warehouses, dedicated to athletes only.
  5. Manage the inventory of all athlete footwear, apparel, and accessories products on a global level and create an up-to-date inventory overview.
  6. Investigate the current process and propose an ideal process that is aligned with internal stakeholders (e.g., Athlete Strategy & Partnership, Supply Chain, Happiness Deliverers, Demand Planning) to secure an efficient and effective future process to provide the best service to our athletes.
  7. Assist the Athlete Strategy & Partnership Team in various daily tasks and long-term projects such as the On Youth Camp, athlete gifts, etc.
  8. Support in building a strategy to position On as a performance sports brand within the younger generation and execute various projects aimed at creating brand love/awareness among young sports enthusiasts.

  2. Strong communication skills.
  3. Self-starter who asks questions, provides clear feedback, and solves problems to improve Athlete Managers’ daily job.
  4. Passion for running culture with knowledge of athletes, coaches, clubs, crews, and the latest media.
  5. Fully understand Athlete needs and ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  6. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  7. Excellent relationship-building skills – both externally and internally across teams and managing external partners.
  8. Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently.

Meet the team

The Athlete Strategy and Partnerships team manages strategy and partnerships with On’s professional athletes primarily in the sport of track and field, road running, trail, triathlon, and tennis. This team is responsible for the recruitment and management of key athletes. In order for our athletes to train at the highest level and compete at major events while showcasing our products to their fans (and driving sales through that), we must ensure a timely delivery of our top training, recovery, and racing products.
