Role description

The EuroTeQ project is a collaborative initiative between EPFL and European partner universities, aiming to establish a joint open EuroTeQ Campus. The EuroTeQ project focuses on developing “future-proof” study programmes and lifelong learning opportunities to equip learners with the skills needed to address society’s evolving challenges and requirements.

**Role Overview**

As the EuroTeQ Collider Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of Work Package 3 - Challenge-based learning. Working at the Transversal Skills and Career Center (CCTC), you will support the Project Manager and the Head of the Unit in the local development and implementation of the EuroTeQ Collider initiative. Additionally, you will actively participate in the EuroTeQathon activities at the European level, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with the overarching project goals. More concretely, your role will focus on supporting the challenge-based learning (CBL) opportunities, coaching up to three student teams (4-5 members per team) and maintaining and establishing relations with external partners (companies, governmental and non-governmental institutions).

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute the yearly EuroTeQ Collider at the local level, including engaging students and faculty
- Maintain and establish contacts with external partners for the development of challenges
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Head of the Unit to ensure smooth project delivery
- Coach and closely work with three student teams on their progress in terms of developing solutions to the challenges
- Travel and participate at EuroTeQathon, a yearly competition of all EuroTeQ partners, happening in June
- Support follow-ups and documentation of the procedures

**Profile**
- Interest and knowledge of challenge-based learning formats. Participation or creation of hackathons is an asset.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication in English and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, intergenerational and interdisciplinary environment.
- Familiarity with higher education frameworks and an interest in transversal skills development. Knowledge about EPFL is an asset.
- Experience in managing or contributing to complex educational projects is an asset.
- Being flexible and anticipating period of high workload (prior and during to the EuroTeQathon in June each year).
