**Your mission**:
As Head Data Analytics & BI your mission is to enable data-based decision-making so that evulpo can help kids in schools worldwide. Along the way, you will ensure that data is collected, processed and visualised in all areas. You will have a special focus on user behaviour. Furthermore, you will build a strong team of Data Analysts and become an important interface to the Product, Marketing and Finance Departments. In a young team with short communication channels, the results of your analyses can flow directly into product development and marketing decisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- You build a Data Analytics & Bi department in a startup in hyper-growth
- You ensure data-driven decisions
- You ensure that data is collected and processed to enable data-driven decision making
- You ensure the continuous integration of new data sources across the organisation
- You have a special focus on analysing the user behaviour on our learning platform
- You continuously define and monitore the customer KPIs
- You identify trends, patterns, correlations and new use cases
- You communicate findings and insights with stakeholders using data visualisation techniques
- You design, build and validate statistical or machine learning models

**Requirements**:

- BSc/BA or MA in Computer Science, Engineering or in a similar field (graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred)
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
- Experience in the mining of large data sets
- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (R / Python)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
- Experience using data visualisation tools and analytics tools (e.g. google cloud, google data studio, google marketing platforms, mixpanel etc.)
- Analytical mind and business familiarity
- Problem-solving and result-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
