Professorship in Veterinary Dermatology

The University of Bern is a comprehensive university offering a broad choice of courses and programs in eight faculties. The Vetsuisse Faculty Bern provides veterinary education for around 500 students. The undergraduate education in veterinary medicine in Switzerland is organised jointly with the Vetsuisse Faculty at the University of Zürich.

The department offers a stimulating environment with collaboration of various specialists in the three clinics run by diplomates of European or American colleges in the respective areas. The facilities of the Veterinary Dermatology unit are located within the small animal hospital. Within the faculty, there are great opportunities for research collaborations, e.g. in the field of inherited skin disorders and the possibility to use complex 3D in vitro skin models.
