In this position the OSD Manufacturing Master Data - Manager will execute tasks related to Manufacturing and Quality Control master data in the Manufacturing ERP System following the GXP guidelines. This includes and is not limited to: data entry, data analysis, workflow setu-up and follow-up, functional testing of ERP system, manufacturing ERP data technical development, master data SME. This position will be participating in the implementation functional and Data management of SAP, so a very good knowledge of the system is necessary.
This position will work in close collaboration with the other Boudry Manufacturing departments, Global Master Data, Quality Assurance, IT and other internal stakeholders.
**Skills/Knowledge Required**
- + 5 years’ experience in data management.
- Conscientious, reliable in action follow-up and priority management, aiming for “right first time”.
- Strong team-player.
- Fluency both in French and English is required.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP system.
- Good insight in processes and dependencies.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced presentation development and delivery skills.
- Experience with cross functional projects and Opex minded.
- Aiming for the full picture and the full understanding of other’s implication.
- Interested and skills in relationship and cross-department interactions.
- Experience in development of ERP/MES related functionality and data.
- Sens of Data governance.
- Strictly follow established processes but also be able to actively contribute in defining new processes.
- Technical expertise on electronic batch records.
- A first experience with manufacturing ERP / MES systems and their implementation.
- Interested and motivated to expand ERP technical skills.
- Interest in IT development.
- Excellent IT proficiency: MS Office, Excel, ERP.
- GxP mindset and culture.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The OSD Manufacturing Master Data - Manager:
- Ability to link the SAP requirement and the manufacturing, QA site requirement. Understand the interdependence of MES and ERP system and is able to coordinate the business request and SAP possibilities in term of Master Data management.
- Ability to timely execute the assigned tasks and assess the impact of these changes upon other Manufacturing ERP Data within the ERP system. Understands the full scope and is consulted during the reflection on timelines and impacts.
- Prepare and follows data templates and workflows in order to meet the requested timelines and performs/delegates data entry in the ERP system.
- Is CAPA action owner and change control action owner and must ensure that the proper actions are done in due time and according to the GxP guidelines and liaise with more global project timelines if needed.
- Compile to GxP guidelines when doing a change in the ERP system and working on projects.
- Lead master data related projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
- Designs and tests new master data
- Technical expertise of the ERP/MES system and coordinates with IT all activities related to site projects impacting ERP, MES functionality or master data
- Provide support / problem solving for manufacturing teams in collaboration with IT
- Provide support to QA investigations related to Manufacturing Master Data and ERP/MES system. Act as lead investigator upon request.
- Collect the business requests and proactively proposes solutions for improvement to the impacted departments and involves the relevant stakeholders. Creatively think of solution that could be technical or IT oriented. Creatively think of process-oriented solutions.
- Govern and aligns the requests to ensure consistency across all master data used on site
- Insure and/or contributes to the proper IT development, implements and executes the necessary steps/data updates within the ERP system always according to the GxP requirements.
- Manage process variable (PV) lifecycle in ERP in collaboration with stakeholders when necessary.
- Actively participate to site projects as master data SME, in particular but not limited to: new product introduction, production line improvements/changes, LEAN initiatives
