You will report into our Group CFO with dotted reporting line to the Executive Vice President Region Europe.

This is what you can move
- Responsible for the overall financial management, finance operations and compliance of the European region; act as business partner to the European region leadership team representing the financial perspective in all matters of business strategy and execution
- Lead, supervise, develop and mentor the Europe finance team ensuring adequate staffing, performance management, talent management and succession planning as well as handling staff rewards, complaints, disciplinary and general issues
- Drive timely, deep understanding and actionable insights on business performance, including on sales, cost of sales, opex and working capital development, through management reporting, KPIs, in-depth analysis and decision support
- Pro-actively challenge the performance, define and drive additional actions and countermeasures together with the relevant stakeholders; oversee commercial decision making for tenders, pricing, offers and terms. Establish and control appropriate counterparty credit limits
- Provide oversight and work closely with the operations team to drive down inventory and distribution costs
- Coordination of Internal Audits including scheduling support, preparation and facilitation of the procedures. Resolution of issues identified by Internal Audit within the responsibility of Finance within agreed timelines and with full documentation

What you bring along
- Degree in Finance and Controlling with 10 years + relevant experience in an international environment
- Strong business acumen with a background in consumer goods and B2B and ideally in a sales-focused organization
- In-depth knowledge of SAP BW and COGNOS a plus, Swiss GAAP FER or IFRS
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial impacts into actionable insights to non-finance staff
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, German highly desirable
- Ability to travel for business within Europe up to 25%
