**Summary**:
The Talent Acquisition Lead - International Region (Associate Director) is responsible for end-to-end sourcing and recruiting strategies as well as on-boarding for the International Region (Europe and Australia/NZ). You are responsible for developing and executing the Talent Acquisition strategy in partnership with the Head International HR, HR Business Partners, and Functional Leaders. In addition, you will be responsible for leading and managing a Sr. TA Partner and Talent Operations Specialist.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to identify and secure top talent for the region, manage multiple priorities and drive results in alignment with the company's mission, vision, values, and culture.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for different European regions
- Provide strategic talent advice and guidance to functional leaders regarding broad recruitment challenges or opportunities by maintaining current market knowledge and external trends
- Lead a team and monitor the day-to-day recruiting activities to ensure performance goals and objectives are met
- Deliver Apellis Value-based interviewing and selection to identify the right individuals for the business needs
- Create competitive offer packages with input from key stakeholders in HR and the business
- Oversee on-boarding activities in partnership with People Operations colleagues. Deliver country-specific on-boarding tasks
- Provide recruiting updates (including reporting analytics), trends, obstacles, and competitive market intelligence on the local / regional talent pools
- Support Apellis's Contingent Workforce Program and manage relationships with third party vendors (if engaged)
- Responsible for Field Commercial Account Manager builds including overall management and execution of the project, including oversight of any RPO vendors

**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree preferred

**Experience**
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience and progressive responsibility in Talent Acquisition/HR
- Experience managing complex projects with defined timelines
- Experience with various HRIS and ATS required. Greenhouse and Workday System is preferred.
- Experience with social media, career boards, and other online and creative resources to enhance employer branding, attract and interact with applicants.
- Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
- Demonstrates understanding of the financials and metrics of the business. Shows appreciation for, understands, and balances the needs of employees with the needs of the business.
- Proven track record of working closely with C-suite/VP-level management while also influencing across multiple levels and functions of an organization and able to build meaningful relationships with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Excellent communicator with strong written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Must be service and detail oriented with a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.

**Travel Requirements**:

- Expected travel to the Company's headquarters.
- Additional travel within the region may be required
