**M&A and Ventures Manager (flexible location)**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead deal execution together with division team. Pull divisions through acquisition process, support business management in development of strategic rationale and business plan including valuation.
- Manage “non-business” workstreams like tax, legal, integrity and many more according to ABB M&A workstream map.
- Prepare integration approaches. Coordinate overall acquisition project with all relevant parties, esp. with business management and ABB’s corporate M&A function.
- Communicate actively with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate and close deals.
- Work with New Business Factory and divisions, advise divisions on strategic implications of potential investments and interface with the businesses to maximize commercial value extraction.
- Ensure the appropriate handling of the evaluation of investments over time and create exit or full acquisition strategies for these companies as appropriate.
- Conduct, direct, and supervise full due diligence of potential investments. Oversee legal documentation and final closing of various rounds of financings (incl. debt, equity, etc.), negotiating critical Deal-Terms.
- Ensure close monitoring and steering of companies invested in by placing ABB representatives in relevant decision bodies/boards.

**Your background**:

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in M&A
- Proven track record in end-to-end M&A deal execution (single to low triple digit million of enterprise value) is a must
- Background in Investment Banking, Corporate M&A or a venture fund is a must
- Experience in dealing with negotiations and specifics in venture/minority investment related specifics is a must
- Profound financial and M&A transaction knowledge
- University degree and several years of job experience in related areas
- Project management experience, including ability to lead teams of senior managers
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills in a multi-national environment with cross-cultural teams
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in English verbally and written, any further language is a plus
