**About the Role**:
As part of the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Finance is responsible for all external and internal finance functions of the Safe Ecosystem Foundation. Provides leadership and coordination of the financial reporting, planning and budget management functions. Ensures Company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles. Conducts active treasury management and strategic investments to ensure the financial resources are used efficiently to achieve the purpose of the Safe Ecosystem Foundation.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensure that the Safe Ecosystem Foundation fulfills all reporting requirements (audits, financial reporting).
- Interact with financial authorities such as ESA and the tax office in Zug.
- Financial statements and planning/budgeting
- Coordinate inter-company finances (service agreement, invoices, taxes)
- Interact with insurances / social contributions agencies (AHV) / banks
- Supervise daily operational finance tasks (payroll, invoicing and tax activities)

**What you will bring**:

- 3+ years in a leading finance role
- Deep understanding of common Swiss tax and accounting practices
- Prior experience managing large treasuries / portfolios ($5-10M+)
- Knowledge in cash management and portfolio diversification
- Relevant network in Switzerland (Banks, Regulators, Payroll provider, Legal counsel)
- Established network with other Swiss Crypto Foundations and their finance departments
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Interest in blockchain technology
- Effective leadership qualities

- Background in a Swiss Crypto Foundation
