The impact you have in this role

As a Supply Network Planner (Transportation and Electrical Business Group) in Langenthal, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- Plan Finished goods for EMEA to achieve target service level within inventory and cost objectives
- Manage exceptions throughout the global distribution network determining how best to resolve supply constraints to balance service, inventory, and cost in the best interest of the supply chain as a whole
- Be accountable for product availability at the right time and right distribution center
- Maintain and build relationships with customers and supply sites in the assigned geographic areas
- Optimize and maintain planning parameters, maintain master data in system and manage supply variabilities
- Proactively communicate supply status and potential risks while leading issue resolution to ensure supply continuity
- Mitigate and avoid future supply issues by thorough root cause analysis and implementation of preventative measures
- Support new product introductions

Your Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Relevant experiences in Supply Chain Planning
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Certificate in APICS is a strong advantage
- Solid English skills (verbally and written) required
- You have an excellent understanding of ERP systems (SAP APO/ECC/SNP is desired), MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
