My client are a global reinsurance business, who offer treaty and facultative property and casualty reinsurance on a worldwide basis. To give you some specifics they cover property, liability, marine, aviation, space, agriculture, accident, life and health and other speciality lines of business such as terrorism and political risk.

The business are currently in the process of recruiting for a Pricing Actuary to join the team in the Zurich office, the role will see you reporting directly into the Head of EMEA giving you more insight into the business. As it stands the team of six is split between London and Switzerland (Zurich has a leaner team, which presents more opportunity)

They're looking to replenish the team, obviously this represents a unique opportunity within a lean growing team, if you're successful at your role and keen to make a difference, then progression will come quickly and will offer more responsibility as the business grows.

**The role**:

- Your focus will be the across the P&C portfolio and territories will change dependent on the time of the year.
- You will be responsible for developing the pricing models, showing your ability to solve problems.
- You will actively engage with the Underwriters, Brokers and fellow actuaries, whilst showing an ability to ask insightful questions.
- You will need to clearly communicate your pricing and structuring to stakeholders, explain your rationale behind your decisions.
- You will visit clients and brokers to build on relationships, understanding their motivations and further understand their business needs and requirements

The business is English speaking but someone who speaks French would hold an advantage. If you have experience in RI Reserving or Direct pricing they would be open to having a conversation. If they get the right individual then they can offer the training.
