In the digital age, data is no longer seen as a by-product of a process but as a strategic asset to perform business, gain insight and create additional business value. Data governance is of utmost importance across all different data types like enterprise base structure data, reference data, master data or transactional data.
Lonza is offering a 5-6 month internship in Data Management to advance the Data Governance level in one of the 3 areas:
- Development of a Data Life Cycle Archiving concept for Transactional Data
- Development of a roll-out plan for the implementation of Good Data Management Practices
- Development of a Data Migration concept for a major upgrade of an ERP system.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop concept and approach for the scope
- Engage with stakeholder, identify applicable business rules & regulatory requirements
- Transfer collected information into an action plan
- Pilot action plan in a selected process & data domain
Key requirements:
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to understand complex data structures and interdependencies through conceptual & strategic end-to-end thinking
- Ability to work across functions & geographic regions
- Ability to self-educate in new areas
- Effective communication, Quality decision making
- Bachelor in Science, Engineering, Finance or Business administration
