The development center in Sankt Gallen, as part of Eaton's PMCC - Industrial Controls and Protection division in Bonn, focuses on the development, production and sale of automation products, solutions and software. Our customers include many well-known and leading machine and plant manufacturers worldwide.

**What you’ll do**:

- Demonstrate leadership and ownership of product, inspire, and motivate others to contribute and to product vision and goals
- Drive innovation within product family and set the environment for IP
- Define a consistent technology roadmap according to the vision and strategy
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to understand customer needs and market trends in collaboration with Product Manager
- Interface to quality, product line, manufacturing, and others outside of engineering
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and work with the team to implement changes.
- Ensuring that product is compliant to needed norms and standards, managing extension of external certifications or legal and ethical considerations
- Taking care of the internal and external standards for Cyber Security

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronic Engineering, Computer science or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience industrial and automation business

**Skills**:

- Excellent experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Knowledge in manufacturing and product test process
- Experience in Agile way of working and flexibility to act as Scrum Master
- Knowledge with norms and standards in industrial environment and cybersecurity
- Experience in leading multiple disciplinary domains teams (FW, HW, SW) technically
- Analytical skills for problem solving and debugging with focus on simple solutions
- Full professional proficiency in German and English
