- ** Position Summary**:
The Sales Order Coordinator is responsible for the order processing of instrument orders placed by either direct customers or Thermo Fisher branch offices. The Sales Order Coordinator manages the order from order entry until delivery to the customer/branch office.

**Responsibilities**
- Enter newly placed instrument orders in the order management system (SBM)
- Verify and if necessary clean/correct the commercial and/or technical content of the order
- Create the order configuration file (SRT) for further order processing in one of the production sites
- Ensure the order is scheduled at the production sites in line with the customer requested date
- Manage changes to orders requested by customers or branch offices and if necessary, follow up on orders with the production sites
- Ensure optimal customer satisfaction throughout the entire order life-cycle
- Provide timely and accurate information on lead times and instrument configurations to Sales
- Organize and participate in customer acceptance visits (reception, meals, reports)
- Actively and constantly participate in the improvement of work processes
- Supervise the maintenance of the customer and product database in our computer system
- ** Requirements**
- Technical Diploma/Commercial apprenticeship certification or higher diploma in commercial studies
- Commercial experience preferably in the field of analytical instruments.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar job.
- Strong customer service/satisfaction mindset.
- Well-developed process thinking and analytical skills
- Drive for continuous process improvement.
- Positive attitude and good ability to work with both internal as well as external partners.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Good command of the English and French language both oral and written.
- Reliable and responsible personality with an autonomous work approach.
