**WHAT UTOPIANS DO**

The open secret is that the music industry is struggling with the very basics of music accounting: What was played, when and where? Who should get paid and how much?

Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. Our goal is to unlock creative value and enable** Fair Pay For Every Play** to make a better world for Music. The solutions we offer do not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection for all.
**THE ROLE**

We work in teams of 3-5 engineers, a product manager, a designer, and a data scientist. You’ll be working on Utopia products built on the Utopia big data platform with a focus on the Creator community. We work full-stack, including the data layer, product infrastructure and user experience. We take a holistic approach to product creation from data to robust backend and customer experience.
We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer, who will work closely with product, design and other engineers to create incredible and impactful products for Creators and their community. Depending on your experience and strengths, we will find the right role for you in the team.
**REQUIREMENTS**

You are a passionate and skilled developer that already has several years of experience working in a Full Stack Engineer role.
- Proficiency working with compiled languages (such as Golang, or Rust) and/or interpreted languages (such as Ruby, or Javascript).
- High quality code is even more important to you than the Force.
- You love to learn and you love to share your knowledge and mentor others.
- You’ve worked with and administrated MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
- Knowing ES6, TypeScript and React is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud, GKE and CI/CD skills are highly valued.
- Good communications skills, fluency in English.
- Good self organisation skills and strong personal integrity

**THE HIRING PROCESS**
- You send us your CV and a cover letter in English.
- We invite you for an introductory phone/video call to get to know you better and share more about us.
- You get a programming exercise and unlimited time to send us your solution.
- Our lead developers evaluate it and we provide you with the feedback.
- Then we’ll have an “on site” interview where you will talk to one of our lead developers and the hiring manager, and one more person from our awesome interview team.
