**BACKGROUND**

This is a unique position providing once in a lifetime learning opportunity for a high potential executive to fundamentally contribute to the Finance Function globally. The Chief of Staff is a key member of the Chief Finance Officer team and will play a crucial role representing the CFO on a wide variety of strategic and operational initiatives across the Group.

Each of the below areas of responsibility will involve a variety of different challenges requiring the person to be both flexible and adaptable whilst demonstrating gravitas in their dealings with internal and external counterparties.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be responsible for supporting him in his role, specifically:

- Help drive and deploy transversally, the strategic agenda of Group Finance
- Help in coordinating/leading business wide priorities with cross-functional teams to improve existing practices for maximum clarity, efficiency and success
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and complex presentations, lead documentary preparation of senior executives’ meetings
- Coordinate the CFO office communication channels and work constructively and efficiently with the CFO Executive Assistant
- In coordination and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, create key strategic updates/memos for the Group CFO’s review.
- In collaboration with the Group Finance cost center owners oversee and coordinate budget and budget planning for the relevant cost centers.
- In collaboration with Group Finance people managers and HR Partners oversee and coordinate all Group Finance/HR-related initiatives with a focus on resource planning.
- Take up other responsibilities individually or as directed by the Group CFO

- Have sound commercial judgment, strong intellect and the confidence to take the lead in negotiations with both internal and external counterparties.
- Demonstrate excellent persuasive and negotiation skills, as they will be required to represent the group several strategic matters of a complex nature.
- Articulate proposals clearly, balance the requirement for technical expertise, and have the ability to recognise the bigger commercial picture.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Master's degree in business, economics or engineering
- Min 5 years of successful experience in a Senior Finance role within the Organization
- Fluent in English a must, French a plus
