**Location Baar, Switzerland**

The Associate Director, Customer Engagement & Social Media Lead partners with the iCOE and CE&O to deliver an aligned TA & Brand Social Media Strategy, providing guidance and support to campaign development and rollout throughout countries. You are a thought partner to Affiliates, providing hands-on experience on how to effectively engage and maintain a Social Media presence across multiple audiences (HCPs, Patients, PAGs, Payers, etc.), including disseminating best practices about channel operation and sharing customers’ trends to support engagement strategies. You play a transformative role in helping iCOE and countries’ stakeholders understand and leverage.

**What you'll do**

**Social Media Strategy & Campaigns**
- Engage as a thought partner and expert with TA/iCOE to align and deliver Social

Media strategies and campaigns based on business scenarios and customer insights,

orchestrating capabilities to deliver expected outcomes.
- Advise and deliver on Social Media display advertising utilizing paid, owned, and

earned approaches, influencing data-driven decision-making and continuous

learning.
- Define critical metrics and implement appropriate Social Listening tracking aligned

to Therapeutic Areas’ strategies, actively disseminating insights that support

identified goals and business challenges.
- Guide, train and mentor iCOE team members and affiliates ensuring they are

equipped with the right knowledge and skills needed to effectively design and

manage a Social Media presence.
- Collaborate with iCOE, Corporate Communication, CE&O and other relevant

stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach across various channels.
- Create and maintain a Social Media Governance body, including critical

representations of the iCOE, Legal, Compliance and key countries, to spearhead

developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the health and

compliance of Biogen’s Social Media efforts.
- Maintain Social Media training support to external partners, helping countries to

monitor and report adverse events and product complaints.
- Work with the Global Customer Solutions & Analytics team and IT to define,

maintain, and evolve operations of Social Media management platforms (Meta, X,

LinekdIn, HootSuite ), optimizing for Biogen’s needs.
- Delivery of clear communication about defined strategies, campaigns, and

guidelines.
- Manage agencies and consultancy support.

- Foster experience exchange and learning loops through internal community engagement, creating opportunities to nurture and support new ideas and showcase best practices and market trends.

**Qualifications**
- Education: BA/BS degree in marketing or equivalent required
- Minimum 10 years’ Digital and Social Media Experience, preferably in the healthcare and consumer goods industry
- Desired experience in working in Affiliate and Regional roles.
- Proven track record of planning and delivering Social Media engagement strategies at launch and across the product life cycle
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, influencing and leading large international programs.
- Experience planning, negotiating, and allocating resources, including people and outside spending across a portfolio of Brands.
- Specific technical experiences should include knowledge in Social Media management platforms, Digital channels Governance and operation, Digital content strategy, Social Media Listening
- Individual contributor role that will work across functions and geographies to drive Global initiatives, as well as local affiliate capability building.
