Sie interessieren sich für die Anwendung von Datenwissenschaft («Data Science») für das Gemeinwohl in der ganzen Schweiz («for public good»). Sie haben erste erfolgreiche Erfahrungen in der Datenwissenschaft gesammelt. Sie möchten sich einem Team von Fachleuten anschließen, um die anderen Teammitglieder mit Ihrem Wissen und Ihrer Praxis zu unterstützen. **Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Unterstützung bei Abwicklungen von Dienstleistungsanfragen im Bereich der Datenwissenschaft (z.B. Beratungen, methodische Begleitungen, Durchführungen von Projekten, Schulungen)
- Aufgaben im Bereich der datenwissenschaftlichen Methoden (z.B. Beratung und Unterstützung, Forschung und Entwicklung, und Ausbildung und Wissenstransfer)
- Unterstützt in fachlicher, technischer und personeller Hinsicht die Abwicklungen von Dienstleistungsanfragen im Bereich der Datenwissenschaft (z.B. Beratungen, methodische Begleitungen, Durchführungen von Projekten, Schulungen) in Absprache mit dem/r Dienstchef/in «Data Science Engineering» («Senior Data Scientist»)
- Unterstützt das Datenwissenschaftsteam bei der Beratung der Kunden vom «Data Science Competence Center» (DSCC) in allen Aspekten des Managements von Dienstleistungsanfragen im Bereich der Datenwissenschaft, insbesondere im Bereich der datenwissenschaftlichen Methoden, Techniken und Praktiken und den benötigten (IT-)Technologien und Tools

**Ihr Profil**:

- Bachelorabschluss (BSc) im Bereich Datenwissenschaft, Mathematik, Statistik, Machine Learning, Physik, Operations Research, Informatik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
- Erste praktische Erfahrung als Datenwissenschafter in einer öffentlichen Verwaltung, einer Universität und/oder im Privatsektor von Vorteil
- Grundkenntnisse in der Entwicklung und bei der Operationalisierung von konkreten Anwendungsfällen im Bereich der Datenwissenschaft mit entsprechender Produktentwicklung von Vorteil
- Vertieftes analytisches und konzeptionelles Denken und Handeln sowie innovativer Gestaltungswillen. Affin gegenüber ingenieurwissenschaftlichem Denken. Gute Beratungskompetenz. Ausgezeichneter Kommunikator, der sich sowohl in zwei Landessprachen als auch in Englisch ausdrücken kann. Passives Verständnis einer dritten Landessprache
- Grundkenntnisse von R und/oder Python. Grundkenntnisse einiger typischer Frameworks (z.B. mlr, caret, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, Spark ML, Keras, TensorFlow, Theano oder gurobipy) sind von Vorteil. Grundkenntnisse wissenschaftlicher Tools wie Jupyter Notebooks und Git sind von Vorteil

Der für diese Stelle zu erwartende Arbeitsaufwand erfordert einen Beschäftigungsgrad von 100%. Je nach Profil der Bewerbungen können unter Umständen auch zwei Personen à je 50% angestellt werden, sodass in diesem sehr spezifischen Bereich eine Stellvertretung garantiert ist.
