Lab-based Ligand Binding Assay Scientist

As a Scientist in the Translational Medicine PK Sciences Bioanalytical group, you will have the opportunity to make a difference. If you have a collaborative nature, a commitment to teamwork across an organization and a relentless focus on improving patient care we want you to apply.- Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Independently design, develop, qualify and implement bioanalytical ligand binding assays (LBAs) and qPCR (polymerase chain reaction) assays for PK, TK, PD and ADA assessment supporting various modalities such as biologics, oligonucleotides and cell and gene therapy platforms.
- Deliver high quality data within defined timelines and aligned to current industry expectations.
- Complete study sample analysis and draft the bioanalytical report in support of urgent project requests.
- Represent the bioanalytical function on project teams and present results, data interpretation, timelines etc. at project team meetings
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate new bioanalytical technologies and solutions to support challenging project requests

**Minimum requirements**
- What you bring to the role:
- M.Sc. in chemistry, biochemistry or related biologic background with minimum 5 years of relevant lab experience in a pharmaceutical, CRO or related industry. BSc with 10+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Hands-on experience with the development of large molecule LBAs and qPCR workflows with an understanding of a broad range of bioanalytical platforms.
- Agility and willingness to learn, implement, and teach new bioanalytical techniques as they arise
- Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities, excellent planning, organization, and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic matrixed working environment. Strong desire to collaborate across teams to achieve common objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in generating and documenting bioanalytical data, interpretation of bioanalytical data, and authoring study reports.
