The Motion 2.0 Transformation Program aims at enabling the business divisions to pursue their strategies through integrated end-to-end processes, information availability and better customer experience. The Motion ERP using S/4HANA technology will serve as an architectural foundation to be fit for purpose for the targeted end-to-end digitalization of our business value chain processes. Materials management is a core functional area of ERP that integrates with up-stream processes across the business value chain and downstream processes across group and business. The MO ERP COE supports the MO 2.0 transformation program that by building and running the needed future Motion ERP IS platforms. As part of the MO ERP COE, the IS Functional Lead Materials Management is responsible for understanding and matching business requirements to S/4HANA best practices and configurable solution functionality. Acting as the solution lead in the materials management functional area you will be a guardian to keep the ERP platform fit to standard & guiding business stakeholders in solution design, including the integration with ERP extensions and non-ERP solutions as required. A particular challenge in this role will be to craft the materials management ERP templates for each business architype used across MO’s seven divisions, which includes the interfacing of Motion Business Area common and Division distinct non-ERP solutions across inter and intracompany trade, procurement & logistics. This will require end to end process thinking, deep knowledge of SAP (including experience of distinct supply chain management tools) and excellent change leadership and communication skills to manage the diverse stakeholders. The role will also be instrumental in training, building & maintaining a functional expert community cross business Divisions and Country IS teams and leading the engagement of external consultants within the functional area. This role is open globally, but location is preferably set in major ABB MO locations: Finland, Switzerland, US, Poland, Spain and India. Willingness to travel is required (can periodically be >50%).

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead analyst in the specific functional area for the MO global ERP S/4HANA platform guiding Business Process Owners, Process Experts and Business Analysts in solution design
- Drive the functional and technical design, system build (configuration), test, delivery, adoption and continuous improvement of the solution.
- Ensure effective collaboration and engagement of both internal IS functional analyst community and external consultants
- Coordinate and lead solution proof of concept activities
- Plan, coordinate and lead solution training during all program phases and support in developing common training concepts across
- Contribute to maintain an end-to-end information flow view considering integrity of Master data across processes and platforms.
- Stay up to date on industry solution developments that MO can benefit from use of standard features and functions to minimize customization
- Share & collaborate with other ABB ERP COE’s enabling the ability of reuse of functional solutions, concepts and best practices within ABB.

**Your background**:

- Experience of working with large company wide/cross business ERP implementations, managing change impacts and dependencies.
- IT management experience in a complex, global IS organization
- 10+ years IT experience as Functional Analyst or Solution Architect, preferably developer background with solid integration architecture experience
- IS solution expertise in other technologies integrating with ERP to support distinct business processes is a plus
- Experience designing, deploying, managing and institutionalizing processes and tools standards for IS management (e.g. IS strategy, portfolio, IS service management, etc.)
- Fluency in English is a must, other languages are beneficial
- Good at networking and building report with variety of stakeholders
- Communication skills: ability to influence through solution & process competence building confidence in e.g. new functional designs.
