**Head of Trading Applications**:
Purpose of the job:
**By joining Banking IT unit, you will**:

- Be a part of a team, that is taking care of core business of the bank - trading
- Join a diverse team, with a high visibility across the bank, including senior management
- Work not only with colleagues from our office in Basel, but you will collaborate closely with Hong Kong and Mexico

**Principal accountabilities**:

- Leading a team:

- Oversee the teams’ objectives, conduct staff performance reviews, assign tasks to team members, motivate and develop training plans.
- Source and lead the external resources required to support or enhance IT systems.
- Product management
- Run IT products portfolio and ensure a 3-year product strategy and product roadmaps are in place.
- Support transition from Project to Product management.
- Operational responsibility and business continuity
- Delivery lead and supplier management
- Application engineering, development and testing
- Production Support and business process analysis
- Responsible for the robustness and resilience of Banking’s IT trading systems and processes.
- Lead and evolve Level 1 Production support team.
- Analyse and design business processes. Interact with the relevant teams about translating requirements into system specifications, and to the selection and implementation of IT solutions.

**Qualifications, skills and experience**:

- A proven track record of leading large, business-critical project, with the use of project planning processes and techniques.
- Experience in leading IT product portfolio and delivery teams in IT organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get the best performance from a team.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and IT solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various groups of stakeholders.
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
