**Position**:
**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The purpose of the Collection Merchandising Intern position is to provide support to the Guess merchandising team in various aspects of the collection planning and execution process.

**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyzing data to identify market and channel opportunities and product performance.
- Support the merchandising team in researching and analyzing competitors.
- Contribute to planning and organizing seasonal collections, including sales presentations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including design, product development, planning & analysis, retail, marketing, to ensure alignment of merchandising strategies.
- Provide general administrative support to the merchandising team, including filing and organization activities.

**Requirements**:
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work by priority, attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Windows Office and of the main pattern design systems (Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Interest and passion for fashion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, any additional language is considered a plus.
