Global Head of Quality is a critical leadership position responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining an Acino-wide commitment to quality, and responsible for ensuring the performance of the quality system at Acino. Accountable that all responsibilities of the quality unit are defined and documented, and that the procedures are followed.

The position is reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (Acino ExCom member).

Overall the Global Head of Quality safeguard Quality and GxP compliance of Acino Products and Processes. Further he/she is responsible for informing CEO, ExCom and GLT on QA matters by monthly or ad hoc reports and within the relevant risk management committees.

**Your main responsibilities include**:

- Lead the QA function at Acino.
- Represent the most senior authority in Acino for Quality Assurance and international GxP requirements.
- Accountable for structure, development, and implementation of the Acino QMS including quality strategy, quality organization, quality documentation system, due diligence projects, and risk management.
- Ensure an Acino Quality Plan is in place, and ensure its implementation, maintenance, and review.
- Responsibility for overseeing and directing QA activities and implementations of initiatives across Global Operations as well as specific objectives related to QA strategies and activities.
- Ensure a timely and effective communication and escalation process exists to raise quality issues to the appropriate levels of management.
- Safeguard cGMP and Product Compliance in Global Manufacturing, Regional offices, and Sourcing Network.
- Initiate and coordinate corporate/internal QA audits in Acino. Support authority inspections and external audits including inspection/audit readiness programs and monitor the respective CAPA status.
- Safeguard GMP and product compliance within Global Operations including adequate design of manufacturing
- and IT-systems and compliance with other GxP requirements (GVP, GCP, GLP, etc.).
- Establish governance structures and safeguard prompt notification to CQA by regional/local Quality Units or others on critical problems, incidents, or risks including recalls.
- Lead and develop QA activities and quality planning within Acino for maintenance of control, continuous improvement, compliance level optimization, and knowledge management. Enforce necessary QA improvements in functional areas (e.g. production, QC, distribution).
- Ensure that all essential systems and processes are covered by the Acino QMS and translated into Corporate Quality Standards and/or local SOPs, and that all QMS documents are properly trained to prevent and cope with quality-related issues such as quality incidents, customer complaints, recalls, or critical observations during inspections.
- Meet on regular basis with QA representatives from functions and manufacturing sites within Acino to ensure coordination and development of the QMS in Acino worldwide. Ensure the tracking and trending of Quality KPIs for each Acino site.
- Develop people and necessary competencies by talent-management and organizational development.
- Be a role model in living the Acino values and secure their implementation.
- Develop and execute short and midterm capacity
- and resource plan (budget, capacity, strategic plan) for CQA.
- Assure close cooperation with external partners and Acino contract manufacturers.

**Your profile**:

- At least 5 years of experience leading a global quality pharma organization, and at least 10-15 years experience in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control and in a manufacturing environment in different responsible management functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
