**Job Description**:
**Temporary Global Sourcing Buyer, Indirect Categories**

8-month temporary contract

**Overview**:
In partnership with Global and Regional Indirect Category leads,
**the Global Sourcing Category Buyer, Indirect Categories** is responsible for supporting sourcing strategies and leading sourcing events at a global and/or regional level within the Global Category Team. The Global Sourcing Buyer plays a key role in enabling global category strategies through project management, data analytics, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, as well as delivering global performance metrics for the categories including fulfillment of Total Value.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Supports delivery of annual financial plan, cost savings and value creation target for the supported categories
- Leads sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, etc) along with a team that consists of business partners, Global and Regional Category leads
- Performs highly complex data analysis and transforms data into actual insights, as well as builds and presents recommendations at different levels of the organization
- Works cross functionally with global and regional counterparts as well as stakeholders in a collaborative way
- Supports supplier relationships to build long term business partnership and supports continuous improvement with key suppliers by leveraging continuous improvement tools and processes.
- Supports industry analysis, RFx creation, negotiations, contracting, implementation and on-going supplier management
- Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders. Build and exhibit cross-functional influence skills across virtual and in-person teams across regions and cultures.
- Understand key cost drivers of the supported categories
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of One Global Sourcing business processes and systems and take the initiative to teach skills to others. Play an active role in process and systems improvement within Sourcing
- Comply with corporate and regulatory policies and accounting practices. Master governance and control procedures to protect company assets including ensuring adherence to the Global category governance structure for all Sourcing projects.
- Supported categories may vary across the Indirect Sourcing space - i.e. Supply Chain (CAPEX, MRO, Logistics, etc), Marketing (Media, Pack Design, Insights, etc) and Corporate Services (Advisory, Professional Services, IT, etc)_

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-3 years Sourcing/Procurement experience - preferably Global Sourcing experience
- Great analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets
- Ability to manage and effectively advance projects to drive results
- Thrives in ambiguity and times of significant change
- Strong collaboration skills across distance and difference
- Fluency in English with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working globally with variety of stakeholders with differing needs and agendas
- Previous experience in Indirect categories
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English
